Share Foundation is a not for profit, privately funded, Christian organization. Our mission is to provide residential living, services and support programs for other-abled adults in a peaceful and loving Midwestern community. We strive to accomplish this mission through recognizing, respecting, and providing for the uniqueness of each individual. Walking through the grounds of Sharing Meadows, we are amazed at the many changes that have taken place since we purchased the land in 1991. From 185 acres of undeveloped farmland, the property has grown into a full community with roads, utilities, homes, a camp building, a swimming pool, and acres of lush landscaping. More importantly, it has grown into a community where other-abled adults can learn new skills, grow to their full potential, and share their talents with others. SHARE Endowment FundThe success of Sharing Meadows, coupled with the increased demand for our services, led us to initiate two Capital Campaigns beginning in 1999 and ending in 2008 that raised over $3 million to fund building construction and new programs, as well as an Endowment Fund for the future needs of the Foundation and Sharing Meadows. As we expand our programs to meet present and future challenges, our Endowment Fund provides a realistic way to ensure sufficient funds exist. Through this fund, only the interest earned will be tapped for expenditures, while the principal remains untouched. Your gift to the Endowment Fund provides a gift over time and helps to ensure the future of Sharing Meadows.
