LEPRECHAUN HUNT 2020 CANCELLED
For the last 25 years, LaPorte County could guarantee one thing on the first Sunday in August…Fr. Blaney would be dressed in all green and would meet you on the hill at Noon for the official start of Leprechaun Hunting. 2020 is a different story.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sharing Meadows had to make the difficult decision to CANCEL this year’s Leprechaun Hunt.
Sharing Meadows operates solely on our fundraisers and private donations. We do not receive any government support. The loss of the Leprechaun Hunt this year can potentially cause a great impact on our financial situation and ultimately impacting the home of 30 Villagers. This is why we are asking for your help!
We will be sending out a brochure to every person on our mailing list. This brochure has options of giving. If you give $25, you receive a hand written thank you from our Villagers. If you donate $50, you receive a really neat leprechaun bottle opener. AND if you give $100, your name will be entered in to a raffle of cash prizes totaling $10,000!! The drawing will take place on August 2nd at noon.
Please, if you are able to donate to our cause, we would be so appreciative. Your donation goes directly to support our residential and camp programs. Where would our friends be without the operation of Sharing meadows? We do not even want to consider that thought!
More information will follow in the next few days of ways to give and support our cause. We thank you for your support of our mission. It is friends like you that allow us to continue giving the Villagers a happy and loving home. May God bless you and your family during this trying time.
IF YOU ARE NOT ON OUR MAILING LIST AND WOULD LIKE TO RECIEVE A BROCHURE, PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE (219) 778-2585
